We are delighted to announce that following the recent CQC inspection our services have been rated as outstanding.
The Care Quality Commission (CQC) has found the quality of care provided by Assist practice part of the Inclusion Healthcare Social Enterprise CIC in Leicester to be Outstanding following an inspection carried out in March 2018.
In their report published 10th May 2018. Inspectors found that the city centre primary health care service which provides care for asylum seekers and refugees was providing an innovative, compassionate and responsive service to all of its patients.
Inspectors found “A patient centered culture, where staff are motivated and inspired to offer kind and compassionate care working to overcome obstacles to achieve this. High standards are promoted and owned by all practice staff” and patients choices and preferences were valued and acted upon.
This genuinely is a multidisciplinary achievement with administrative and nursing teams being particularly praised in the report. The success is achieved with the support of incredibly dedicated partner agencies including British Red Cross, City of Sanctuary, STAR Amal and Zinthiya Trust.
Inclusion team would like to thank Leicester City CCG who continues to commission this essential specialist service, enabling best practice for this vulnerable community.
This rating comes just 6 months after being awarded the contract by Leicester City CCG. Inclusion Healthcare have turned the practice around and are delighted for their patients who can have confidence that they are receiving outstanding NHS care.
